February 2016 Preferred Palette

Welcome to the inaugural post segment I'd like to dub as Preferred Palette! From time to time, I'll be selecting a few nice photos that have a general theme and creating a color palette based on that selection. This first post is, as you can see, based on the month of February. One of the first things that comes to mind in February is, of course, Valentine's Day! Most of the time when you think of Valentine's Day, you imagine gigantic glowing red heart shaped boxes filled with chocolates and those pre-made themed Valentine cards. Now I love a nice cream-filled chocolate and a card that reads, "May the Force Awaken this Valentine's Day", but I wanted a more subtle choice of colors and imagery to convey the message of true love. Whether it be for a spouse, brother, or your parents.
